Neon Repair & Restoration
 |
Lite Brite Neon recently restored
some neon for the National Heritage Museum,
from the collection of Dave and Lynn Waller. See examples
of our restoration work. |
Neon tubes have an average life of 15-25 years, and the transformers
that run the tubes can last up to 10-15 years. Frequently,
a tube gets broken or an improperly loaded transformer fails, causing
a sign to stop working, or only partially light up. Lite Brite Neon
is equipped to repair tubes made in all kinds of glass, including
Pyrex tubing.
Our studio is specially equipped to repair and service neon art.
With a background in fine art fabrication, an appreciation for
the arts, and a client list including the Dia Center, MoMA, The Whitney Museum of Art and MOCALA, Lite Brite Neon is pleased to serve several museums and
private clients, as well as artists in the fabrication, repair and
service of neon artwork.
* Please note that we do not repair beer signs, or signs purchased on eBay; it is cheaper to buy replacements from online sources.
